LIVESTOCK JUDGING TEAM IS STATE BOUND! - April 5, 2016

The Celeste FFA Livestock judging team competed in the District/Area Livestock judging contest hosted by Texas A&M – Commerce on April 5, 2016. The contest was held in Sulphur Springs. There were 15 teams from our District and 93 teams from our Area competing in this contest. The top teams in the Area ranking qualify for State. They take the top 5 teams or 15%, whichever is greater. With 93 teams participating from our Area, that calculates to 14 teams. The Celeste FFA livestock judging team consisting of Jaxson Dillard, Shayla Daugherty, Abbi Farr, and Reid Tallant placed 1st in District and 11th in Area, which qualifies them to compete in the State FFA Livestock judging contest at Texas A&M University in College Station on April 30.
