KEELEY JURCA SETS RECORDS AND QUALIFIES FOR WORLD POWERLIFTING MEET

Celeste High School junior, Keeley Jurca, competed in her first United States Powerlifting Association (USPA) Meet at the 2017 Houston Fall Classic in Houston on October 14, 2017. Keeley placed 1st in her division in the 105.7 lbs. weight class, and set the new records at USPA for her division and weight class on Squat, Bench, Deadlift, and overall Total! Even though she didn’t lift near the weight she is able to due to having to change her equipment she lifts in for their rules last minute. Her private coach wanted to play it safe and lift less weight this time, therefore, she did 198.41 lbs. on Squat, 115.74 lbs. on Bench, and 225.97 lbs. on Deadlift for an overall total of 540.13. She also qualified for the World USPA Meet in Las Vegas by going over the minimum overall total weight lifted to qualify!
