JCW LIGHTING CEREMONY AND SOFTBALL GAME

The Jordan Casey Wright Foundation (JCW) raised over $250,000 in donations and grants to make this dream possible.

On Thursday, July 31, 2015, a large crowd gathered at the Celeste High School baseball field to celebrate what would have been Jordan Casey Wright's 18th birthday.  Family, friends, community members alongside several other community partners and corporations including the Baseball Tomorrow Fund joined together to honor Jordan and officially light-up the night sky with a baseball lighting ceremony.  The ceremony was followed by a celebratory softball game between Jordan’s teammates and community adults who played a major role in this project’s success.

Special thanks to the generosity of programs and organizations such as the Globe Life Texas Rangers Grant Program, MUSCO Sports Lighting, Sharyland Utilities, and especially the Baseball Tomorrow Fund.

According to Josh Wright, JCW Foundation President and Jordan's brother, the Celeste community had a huge part in raising funds as well.  "I have had a front-row seat to witnessing how much a community can be impacted by prayer, a little hard work and a whole lot of faith,"Wright said.
