FIFTH GRADE RECOGNITION CEREMONY - May 19, 2016

Dr. Seuss once said, “You’re off to great places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, so . . . Get on your way!” The fifth grade will be leaving the elementary campus and moving up to the junior high campus for the 2015-2016 school year, so in their honor, a recognition ceremony was held on May 19, 2016.  The ceremony included a special address by Jim Sherwin, a musical number given by the fifth grade class, and Jaci Pope gave a student address.  During the program, students received UIL recognition and Accelerated Reader top awards.  Recipients of the Georgia Steed Abell Awards, honor roll and perfect attendance were announced.  Refreshments were served and then followed by the fifth grade living wax museum.  Click on the link below for photos:
