CELESTE FFA BANQUET 2016 - May 24, 2016

Celeste FFA held its annual banquet on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 in the Celeste High School Dining Hall.  This past year has been very prosperous for the Celeste FFA chapter.  Many members received recognition for their hard work in the areas of leadership, livestock production and exhibition, career development, and even a state qualifying livestock judging team just to name a few!

Honorary degrees were presented to Mickey and Nancy Myers, Amy Childress and Celeste FFA Shop Advisor, Steve Wilson. Honorary membership is given to those who help to advance agricultural education and the FFA and who have rendered outstanding service to the chapter.  

The Celeste FFA Booster Club President, Cary Herron, presented scholarships in the amount of $500 to the following students:  Haley Wilson, Hannah Lipsey, Caitlyn Burke, Sabrina Chambliss and Sarah Myers . The Celeste FFA Booster Club woks diligently throughout the year to help local FFA students by adding money to county fair market projects, travel assistance for FFA sponsored events, and scholarships for graduating FFA seniors.
