CELESTE HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 2015

Celeste High School Graduation is May 29, 2015 at Celeste High School Gymnasium @ 8:00 PM.

 


Celeste Valedictorian Abby Collida is the daughter of JoAnna and Steve Collida. Abby has been involved in FFA for seven years. She has served as a chapter officer all four years of high school. Abby has shown chickens for five years, Ag mechanics for three years, and lambs for three years. Throughout the past four years of high school, she has participated in Leadership and Career Development Events, such as Ag Advocacy and Horse Judging. Abby qualified for the state FFA talent contest this past summer. She served as the Area V FFA Association Reporter for the past year. Aside from being heavily involved in FFA, Abby enjoys spending time at church and playing in the youth bell choir. She is also involved in FCA and cross-country, was the powerlifting manager and Drum Corps Lieutenant, and was a BETA Club officer this year. She loves to sing, ride four-wheelers, and spend time with her family. Abby is headed to Texas A&M University-College Station in the fall to pursue a degree in Agricultural Education.

 

Celeste Salutatorian Devon Jackson is the daughter of Genna and Joel Jackson. She has been involved in the FFA for four years and has served as a chapter officer every year. Devon has shown chickens for four years at the Hunt County Fair and won Reserve Champion once. She has been involved in Celeste FFA’s chapter conducting team for four years, advancing to area each time. Apart from FFA, Devon is successful in basketball, cross-country, tennis, and softball. She is also co-captain for the drill team. Devon has been involved in FCA and BETA Club for four years. She is going to Texas A&M University-College Station in the fall to study Poultry Science. In her spare time, she enjoys hunting, fishing, and hanging out with her friends and family.
