LARGE CROWD ATTENDS FFA AUCTION

The FFA auction helps cover the cost for many FFA activities.

A large crowd was in attendance at the Celeste FFA Booster Club Auction which was held on March 29, 2014.  Thanks to the generosity of all the Celeste FFA supporters as well as individuals and businesses that donated items to the auction.  The auction raised $22,500.00 to help our local FFA students.  The money raised will help purchase Hunt County Fair junior market projects, scholarships for graduating FFA seniors and travel assistance for FFA sponsored events such as the state convention, judging contests and agricultural mechanics and livestock shows.  Opening day for the Hunt County Fair and Livestock Show will be on April 25.  Come out and support our Celeste FFA students as they exhibit their projects at the junior livestock show.  Check the Celeste ISD website for the Hunt County Fair schedule of events.
