Rachel Myers, daughter of Mickey and Nancy Myers, is Valedictorian of Celeste High School with a GPA of 99.78. Her accomplishments include Yearbook Editor, Beta Club officer, Cross Country Regional Qualifier, Cross Country All-State Academic Team, Basketball All-District Team, Dancer of the Year, Honors English Top Student, Spanish Top Student, Co-Softball Defensive MVP, Softball Academic All-District, History Top Student, Math Top Student, and Class President. She was voted Miss CHS, Football Sweetheart, and Most Likely to Succeed. Rachel is also an active member of the Celeste United Methodist Church. She belongs to the youth group and teaches Vacation Bible School every summer. Rachel will be attending Oklahoma State University in the fall to study Accounting and International Business.
Chris Moore, son of Crawford and Theresa Moore, is Salutatorian of Celeste High School with a GPA of 97.0. His accomplishments include FFA President, Lone Star FFA Degree (Highest FFA award in Texas), Land Judging 1st place, Ag Mechanics Grand Champion of the Hunt County Fair, Blue ribbons at the Ag Mechanics shows in San Angelo and Houston, Area qualifier in Chapter Conducting, Quiz Team, and Ag Advocacy, Beta Club officer, Drum Corps Co-Captain and Co-MVP, Honors English Top Student for three years, Top Student in Science for two years, and Top student in Agriculture all four years. Chris is also an active member in Wesley United Methodist Church, and very involved with the youth group. He is on the leadership team, youth choir, handbell choir, and mission team. Chris will be attending Tarleton State University next year to study Environmental Science.
