January is school board recognition month, and the students, faculty and staff of Celeste Junior High Schoolwanted to show the Celeste ISD School Board how much they are appreciated for their service, commitment and dedication.  The students presented the board members with gifts and praised them with special messages such as a permanent marker to show them they have made a lasting and permanent contribution to CISD, a screwdriver for helping to build the future for CISD students, a package of seeds for planting seeds of kindness, a tape measure to measure the difference they have made, a Payday candy bar since school board members don’t receive a salary and the work they do is priceless, a flashlight for their glowing enthusiasm as they make tough decisions for our school and a package of Pop Rocks candy to show CISD Board of Trustees that they “rock”!
