CELESTE HIGH SCHOOL BETA CLUB INDUCTION

Celeste High School inducted eighteen students into the Beta Club in a ceremony on Thursday, May 4, 2017.  The Beta Club officers gave a special presentation for the inductees that highlighted the purpose, goals and benefits of being a Beta Club member.  During the ceremony, the officers explained the purpose of the Beta Club and spoke of the key elements in the four pillars of Beta: Achievement, Character, Leadership and Service.

There was also a special presentation given by Beta Club officer, Lindsay Thompson.  She performed her state qualifying prose interpretation selection from "A Taste of Purple" by Carol Rust and "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett for the audience.  Lindsay will compete at the State UIL contest on May 22nd and 23rd at the University of Texas in Austin.
