Celeste Junior High School sponsored a Turkey Trot on Friday, November 18th.  All proceeds from the Turkey Trot went to the Hunt County Clothe-A-Child Organization. The students and teachers engaged in physical activity while working to give back to others!  Participants dressed up in costumes that represented a Thanksgiving/Turkey Trot theme.

Each campus kicked off the Turkey Trot Party with music and dancing.  The junior high and high school students walked from the high school to the elementary. From there, students participated in a group Turkey Trot photo.  Next, all students and teachers walked to the high school parking where they continued to walk with music.  Prizes were awarded for Best Costumes for all ages.

Each student/teacher donated a minimum of $1.00 to participate in the Turkey Trot.  After all student/teacher donations, t-shirt sales and sponsorship donations were added, the junior high had raised over $8000 to help support our local Hunt County Clothe-A-Child!  Thanks to all who helped to make this fun-filled event a huge success.
