CELESTE FFA 2017 BOOSTER CLUB AUCTION & KIDS CAKE CONTEST PHOTOS

Celeste FFA Booster Club Annual BBQ and Auction was held on Saturday, March 4, 2017.  “It was incredible to observe the show of support that the Celeste community and the surrounding communities provide to our students here at Celeste ISD,” Ag Science teacher, Stephen Dillard, stated.   Over 350 people were in attendance Saturday night and they came from all over the county. The event raised over $30,000!  Earnings from the auction and BBQ are used towards things such as scholarships, travel expenses for our students, shop material to use for projects, material used for FFA meetings, banquet expenses, FFA officer shirts, livestock show equipment, add on money for Hunt County Livestock Show, and much more. Thank you to all the dedicated families, FFA students, donors and supporters.  Your kindness and generosity are what make the auction such a huge success. 

The 2017 Celeste FFA Booster Club Kids’ Cake Decorating contest was a big success.  Cake themes ranged from Easter bunnies, pigs, sheep, cows, farms and even a cow patty!  Special shout out to all our participants for taking the time to decorate a cake for the auction.  This is a fun, creative way to raise money for our FFA students.  Results in the cake contest are as follows:
