Celeste High School seniors, Megan Sherwin, Caden Lewis and Chance Brown, teamed up to host the Celeste High School Back to School Blood Drive on September 4, 2018. These students got involved to show their commitment to community service and because they wanted to help save lives. According to the American Red Cross Blood Services, “85% of the blood they process comes from blood drives held by organizations such as Celeste High School.” The students stated that it felt good to be able to help others in need. The students are planning to host another blood drive in the spring.
Chad Davidson, a senior at Celeste High School, donated blood to help those in need. Thanks to all the teachers, students and community members that came out and helped make a difference by donating blood.
