FFA District 2 Leadership Camp

Celeste FFA officers Karalyn Goodman, Kloe Walker, Josie Crossland, Bethany Carter, Cori Jordan, Kambrie Hogue, Jaycee Brown, and Raegan Sumrow attended the District 2 Officer Camp at Bland High School on Sept. 8.  The officers spent the morning attending workshops on being a good chapter leader, meeting and making new friends, and preparing for the upcoming year.

Celeste FFA District Officer, Jaycee Brown, led chapter officers from around District 2 in a leadership workshop. Jaycee’s workshop concentrated on the world of social media and the dangers it can pose. One point of the presentation was that social media posts don’t go away. They are forever, so be careful of what you say and the pictures you post. 

Kambrie Hogue is currently serving as the Celeste FFA Chapter 1^st Vice-President and the Area 5 FFA Treasurer.  Kambrie spoke to the large group of District 2 officers about upcoming events which includes the Greenhand FFA camp coming up on September 22.
