Mini Cheerleaders Perform at Pep Rally

The Celeste cheer squad had a large turnout for their mini cheer camp last week.  The mini campers worked very hard with the cheerleaders to learn and practice Blue Devil cheers and chants.  After hours of practice, the campers got to demonstrate what they had learned at the “Tie up the Tigers” pep rally on Friday.  Performing in front of a large crowd, the young ladies cheered with the varsity cheerleaders for the entire pep rally. 

“THE EYES THAT ARE UPON YOU”

There are little eyes upon you, and they’re watching night and day; 

There are little ears that quickly take in, every word you say. 

There are little hands all eager to do, anything you do; 

And a little boy or girl who’s dreaming of the day they’ll be like you. 

You’re that little child’s idol, you’re the wisest of the wise; 

In their little minds about you, no suspicions ever rise. 

They believe in you devoutly, hold that all you say and do; 

They will say and do, in your way, when they’re grown up like you. 

There’s a wide-eyed little boy or girl who believes you’re always right; 

And their eyes are always open and they’re watching day and night. 

You are setting an example every day, in all you do; 

For that little child who’s waiting to grow up just like you.
