State Fair of Texas Kicks off with Breeding Gilt Show

Congratulations to Hunter Bolton for placing in the State Fair of Texas Breeding Gilt Show!  Hunter showed his Duroc breeding gilt in the Pan-Am Purebred Gilt show and placed 5^th.  He also exhibited his crossbred gilt and received 3^rd place. 

Celeste FFA will be competing in many livestock shows, judging contests, and skill-a-thons throughout the duration of the State Fair.  FFA members will also be attending the Ag Awareness Day on Oct. 9, 2018.  The State Fair runs through Oct. 21^st.  Click the link below to view the SFT livestock event schedule, and good luck to all our Celeste FFA students!
