Kloe Walker Elected District 2 Vice-President

The District 2 FFA Association held a meeting on Tuesday, April 30th at Honey Grove High School. FFA members attending were Justin Richey, Raegan Sumrow, Kambrie Hogue, Jaxson Dillard, Jaycee Brown, Nathaniel Huddleston and Kloe Walker.  Celeste FFA member Kloe Walker has been working very hard over the past few weeks to prepare for the District 2 officer election.  Candidates for district office have to follow a three part process. This process includes taking an exam, interviewing before a panel of judges and delivering a speech to FFA members and voting delegates at the District 2 meeting.  Kloe was elected serve as the 2019-2020 District 2 Vice-President.   Jaycee Brown has been serving as the District 2, 2018-2019, Vice-President.  She helped run the meeting, and then retired her officer position to Kloe as the incoming Vice-President. Jaycee will be running for an Area office for the upcoming year. She will be testing, interviewing and preparing a speech for the Area convention which will be held on May 13th at Texas A&M University-Commerce.
