Celeste FFA State Degree Finalists

Celeste FFA members Jaxson Dillard and Raegan Sumrow competed at the State FFA Degree competition on June 5, 2019.  Jaxson won the Area 5 Sheep Production Proficiency award and his application qualified for state.  Jaxson was selected to interview and submit an application for a Texas FFA Scholarship.  He was awarded the Jim Bob Norman Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate Scholarship in the amount of $10,000.  Raegan Sumrow won the Area 5 Chapter Star in Beef Production Award.  She was selected along with eleven other FFA members to compete for the state award.  The state winner will be announced during the 91^st Texas FFA convention which will be held in Fort Worth, Texas, July 15-19, 2019 at the Fort Worth State Convention Center.  Raegan and Jaxson will both be recognized for their accomplishments during the state convention.
