Celebrate Hispanic Heritage, National Dot Day, and Be Who You Are Day in September

Our September Choice Board where reading, learning, making, coding, technology and music can take you on adventures all month long. Thanks to Librarian, Shannon McClintock Miller, for creating and sharing monthly student choice boards!  Shannon is a district librarian and technology specialist at Van Meter Elementary in Van Meter, Iowa.

Hispanic Heritage Month September 15 - October 15
Each year, we observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15 by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.

National Dot Day - September 15
Dot Day is coming up on September 15, so the special Let's Celebrate Dot Day choice board is included and loaded with lots of creative fun.
