Homecoming King and Queen 2019

Homecoming 2019 came to a close with the crowning of the Celeste High School King and Queen.  The king and queen were crowned at the homecoming football game during the half-time program. 

Homecoming King, Malachi Buckley, is the son of Ray and Meredith Buckley. Malachi has been involved in football for 4 years, basketball 4 years, and track for 2 years and qualified for regionals both years. He plans on attending TSTC to become an automotive mechanic. 

Homecoming Queen, Jaycee Brown, is the daughter of Chad and Crystal Brown.  Jaycee has been involved in Drill Team, Cross Country, & Basketball for 4 years, and softball for 3 years.  Jaycee received all-district honors her freshman, sophomore and junior years as well as All Academic. She is currently the President of the Celeste FFA chapter, earned her Lonestar Degree this past summer, and served as the 2019 District 2 Vice President her junior year. Jaycee participated in track for 2 years and golf for two years and qualified for the regional meet in 2019.  She has been involved in beta club and FCA for 4 years and is the Vice President for the current year. She plans to attend Texas A&M College Station and become a dental hygienist.
