Celeste FFA member Gabe Becken exhibited his Colored Angora goats at the State Fair on October 4-6.

Celeste FFA Livestock Judging team members participated in the State Fair contest on Monday, October 7.  The team members had the day off from school and spent the day getting better. Kloe Walker was the high point individual on the Celeste senior team.  Great job and way to work hard!

The Celeste FFA participated in Ag Awareness on Tuesday, October 8, at the State Fair of Texas. Celeste had 54 students participate.

Celeste FFA member Raegan Sumrow competed in the open and junior Red Brahman show on October 12-16. She came home with several seconds and a third.

Busy weekend at the State Fair. On Friday, Madisyn Douglas competed in the Beef Skillathon contest. This is a contest that tests your knowledge on livestock and the beef cattle industry. Madisyn did a great job representing Celeste FFA.

Madisyn Douglas participated in the Junior Santa Gertrudis show on October 18-20 at the State Fair. She placed 2nd in an extremely large, competitive class and also had a 6th. The 2nd place heifer went back in and won Reserve Champion Senior Heifer honors.
