Celeste Athletes Recognized

Celeste High School senior, Cori Jordan, has been accepted to Oklahoma Wesleyan University where she has signed to play softball.  She will pursue pre-med studies.  Congratulations to Cori and her family!

Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) recently announced the recipients of the Academic All State Boys and Girls players. The awards are nominated by Texas High School basketball coaches and voted on by Regional coordinators and committees. 

Celeste High School is proud to announce the following recipients of the TABC All Academic State Award:
Girls: Jaycee Brown, Savannah Stone, Liberty Pearce, Mackenzie Minter
Boys: Evan Bowles

Also, congratulations to Damon Crook for receiving the 2A Region 2 TABC Boys All-Region Basketball Team award.

The Texas Army National Guard and the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) understand that students’ performance in the classroom can sometimes be difficult to manage while participating in athletics, but their hard work has not gone unnoticed. The THSCA Academic All-State Teams recognize high school athletes who excel in the following categories: GPA, class rank and ACT/SAT score.  We applaud Evan Bowles for his commitment and dedication to perform with the highest of excellence academically and on the court.  Evan received the THSCA 2^nd Team Academic All State Basketball award.
