Teachers Prepare for Distance Learning

Teachers and staff at Celeste ISD are preparing for the 2020-2021 school year by participating in summer professional development classes to help get ready for possible remote learning in the upcoming year.  Additional computers and Internet devices are being purchased to assist in distance learning.  Faculty members are preparing for distance learning by participating in an online learning hub that includes resources and training to make classrooms distance ready prior to the start of school.  Google will be the main learning platform in grades 3-12 and Seesaw will be used from prek-2^nd grade.  Parents can prepare for distance learning as well by searching The 2020 Parents Guide to Google Classroom and by visiting Seesaw tutorials at https://web.seesaw.me/parents.
