Homecoming King and Queen 2020

The Celeste High School Homecoming 2020 King and Queen were announced on Friday, October 2nd during the halftime festivities.  Congratulations to Kloe Walker and Thadeus Clark! 

Kloe is the daughter of Derek and Lindsay Walker. Kloe has been involved in Cheer for 4 years, basketball and golf for 3 years, and tennis for 2 years. Kloe has been a Cheer captain for 3 years and has served as class president for 4 years. She has been a member of the student advisory committee for one year and involved in FCA and Beta club for 4 years. Kloe has been heavily involved in the FFA for 10 years. She has served as a chapter officer for 3 years, this past year she served the District 2 Association as Vice President, and she is currently serving the Area V association as Sentinel. Kloe plans to attend Texas Tech University and major in Agricultural Communications. 

Thadeus is the son of Danny Clark and Denesha Clark. Thadeus has been involved in Football and Baseball for 4 years, and Powerlifting for 2 years. He has been a football captain for 2 years. Thadeus has been a member of the FCA and Beta Club for 4 years. He has also been active in ag mechanics for 2 years. Thadeus has received district honors, and Defensive MVP in football. He plans to attend Tarleton State University and pursue a business degree.

Nominees: Tyson Fielden & Raegan Sumrow

King and Queen Nominees 2020

Tyson is the son of James and Sarah Fielden and Amber Saye. Tyson has been involved in Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Track for 4 years and Tennis for 2 years. Tyson has been a football captain for 1 year. He has advanced to regionals in track for 2 years and was awarded newcomer of the year in baseball.  He plans to attend Texas A&M University Commerce and major in electrical engineering.  

Raegan is the daughter of Steve and Heather Sumrow. Raegan has been involved in Cheer for 4 years, golf for 3 years, and basketball for 2. She was a member of the student advisory committee for 1 year. Raegan has been a member of FCA and Beta Club for 4 years and served as class treasurer for 4 years. She has been heavily involved in the FFA for 7 years, she has served as a chapter officer for 3 years and is currently serving as a Hunt County Fair Jr. Ambassador and a Texas Junior Brahman Association Director. Raegan Plans to attend Texas A&M University at College Station to pursue a degree in Ag Business and Animal Science.


Nominees: Thomas Powell & Chelsea Young

Thomas is the son of Tommy Powell and Michelle Balencia.  Thomas has been involved in Football, Basketball, and Track for 4 years. Tennis for 2 years, and Baseball for 1 year. He has been a football captain for 2 years and a basketball captain for 1 year. Thomas has been awarded newcomer of the year, and first team all-district in football, 1st team all-district in Basketball and has been a regional qualifier in Track. Thomas has also been an FFA member for 1 year. Thomas plans to continue his football career in college.  

Chelsea has played soccer outside of school for 14 years. Chelsea has been involved in golf for 3 years, and Cheer, Drums and Tennis for 2 years here at CHS. She has been a member of the FCA and Beta Club for 4 years. Chelsea has served as Class Secretary for 3 years. She has been a member of the FFA for 4 years and served as a chapter officer for 2 years. She plans to attend Tarleton State University, major in Elementary Education, and pursue a career as a Kindergarten Teacher.  


The 2019 Celeste High School King and Queen, Malachi Buckley and Jaycee Brown, presented the crown.
