Stone Advances to the State Cross Country Meet!

Stone Advances to the State Cross Country Meet!

Celeste High School is proud to announce that junior, Jerret Stone, qualified for the state XC meet that will be held on November 23-24 at Old Settler’s Park in Round Rock.  Jerret stated that he set a goal to make it to state after he missed qualifying at the 2019 XC Regional meet.  Jerret has been conditioning for this event for over a year.  He pushed himself to run in all types of weather including the extreme summer heat, fog, rain and frigid temperatures.  Stone is certainly a true example of grit and determination.  Congratulations on accomplishing this goal and good luck at state! 

The girls and boys cross country teams ran very well at Regionals!  We are proud of their commitment and dedication to this sport.  Congratulations also goes out to Cross Country Head Coach, Alesha Evans, and Assistant Coach, Jeremy Evans.
