JH Student Receives Gift from Former Student

Carly Collida graduated from Celeste High School in 2013, and she graduated in 2017 with a business degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.  She currently works for a mortgage lender in Dallas.  Carly attended Celeste from 1^st grade through the 12^th grade.   She stated that she cherishes her years at Celeste ISD and believes that her learning experiences and the guidance of the caring faculty members at Celeste instilled in her a desire to learn about the world and a genuine respect for people. 

Recently, Carly won a new Chromebook Laptop at work and was given the opportunity to gift it to a student in the community.  The faculty and staff at Celeste Junior High School nominated eighth grader, Marcy Johnson.  Teachers remarked that Marcy is a very involved student with a vibrant and energetic personality.  She works hard at everything she does!  Congratulations Marcy!
