Celeste Junior High School competed in the District UIL Competition on December 4, 2020. The contest was held at the First Baptist Church for Celeste students only because of the COVID19 guidelines. The speaking events were videoed and then uploaded for district judging. The other contests were given by the traditional paper and pencil method. After all the contests were completed, the score sheets were sent to the district UIL coordinator for determination of individual, team and overall district placings. Celeste ISD is proud to announce that the junior high placed 1stoverall in the UIL contest!
