Athletes Compete at the Regional Powerlifting Meet

Three student athletes represented Celeste High School at the Division 3 Region 3 Regional Meet on March 5, 2021.  Erick Orduna in the 148-weight class, Waylon Vidler in the 181-weight class, and Brady Henslee in the 220 class.  “All three fought and competed very well.  By the end of the meet, Erick finished 9th, Brady received a medal for 3rd, and Waylon received a medal for 2nd in their respective weight classes,” stated head powerlifting coach, Blair Elliott.  Waylon earned the ability to advance to the State Powerlifting Meet that will be held in Abilene, Texas on March 26-27 at the Taylor County Expo Center.
