FFA Judging Season has Officially Begun!

Members of the Celeste FFA judging teams, including Raegan Sumrow, Kloe Walker, Paris Walker and Koby, began a three-day judging trip in Stephenville at Tarleton State University to judge livestock.  There were 217 teams and 851 individuals in the contest.  Celeste FFA placed 19th as a team. Individually, Koby placed 9th, Reagan placed 16th, Kloe placed 67th and Paris placed 110th.  This was the first complete contest in almost two years for the livestock judging team, so these results were encouraging.  The team went on to judge at the Angelo State University Invitational Contest.  This round, Kloe and Paris were able to practice wool judging and Raegan and Koby got some extra practice judging livestock.  The team traveled onto Texas Tech University to judge livestock.  As a team, Celeste placed 11th out of 73 teams in the livestock contest.  Next week, the teams will compete in Cleburne and Weatherford.
