Wool Judging Team is STATE bound!

The Celeste FFA Wool Judging team competed in the Area 5 FFA/State Qualifying contest on April 19, 2021 at Weatherford College. “This event is an extremely competitive and challenging contest. It was a great day, and these kids have worked very hard for this contest,” stated Ag teacher Stephen Dillard.  The team members consist of Ally D’Amico, Paris Walker, Kloe Walker, Justin Richey, and Preslee Minter. There were 17 teams competing and the top 5 receive an automatic qualification for the State FFA Wool judging contest to be held this Friday and Saturday on the campus of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. The Celeste FFA team placed 2nd and qualified for the state contest. There were 60 individuals in the contest, and Ally placed 2nd high individual overall, Paris placed 4th high overall, and Kloe placed 6th high overall. Congrats to the team members on qualifying for state and to Mrs. Dillard for her commitment to train this team.
