Thank You for Supporting Celeste FFA!

Celeste FFA would like to extend a huge thank you to all the FFA booster club members, FFA members, Terry Driggers, and Kevin McCaslin that gave their time, cooked, donated items, and helped to organize the auction.  Thanks to the gracious guests and buyers that attended, the proceeds from the auction will play a significant role in supporting FFA members throughout the year.  The funds raised will help with add-ons for Hunt County Fair market animals and projects, scholarships for graduating FFA seniors and travel assistance for FFA sponsored events such as the state convention, judging contests and agricultural mechanics and livestock shows.  On another exciting note, Dr. Keith Frost, Assistant Professor of Agricultural Education at Texas A&M – Commerce presented Ag Science teacher, Stephen Dillard, with a $1,000 scholarship to be presented to a graduating senior that plans to attend TAMU-C and major in agriculture.  Dr. Frost also helped to raise money during the auction that will directly serve FFA students that needed assistance in purchasing the FFA jacket and the official dress worn by FFA members.
