Stone Goes Back to Back at State XC

The girls and boys cross country teams competed at the Regional Cross Country meet which was held at Lynn Creek Park at Joe Pool Lake in Grand Prairie, Texas on October 25, 2021.  These runners have demonstrated a high level of commitment and dedication to this sport.  Celeste High School is excited to announce that Jerret Stone has qualified for the state cross country meet for the second year in a row!  “Jerret has been a force for the team.  He has endured running in every type of weather, and he has set individual goals for himself which he has achieved,” stated Coach Alesha Evans.  Jerret will compete on November 6 at Old Settler’s Park in Round Rock, Texas.  Best of luck to Jerret, and congratulations also goes out to Cross Country Head Coach, Alesha Evans, and Assistant Coach, Jeremy Evans!
