Stone Sets Personal Best Time at State XC Meet

Jerret Stone finished his cross country senior year with a personal best of 17:52 at the State XC Meet on November 6, 2021, at Old Settler’s Park in Round Rock, Texas.  Stone finished 39^th at the state meet.  “Jerret has been a force for the team, a great leader and an example for all to follow.  He has endured running in every type of weather, and he has set individual goals for himself which he has achieved,” stated XC Coach Alesha Evans.  Celeste ISD is proud of the level of commitment and hard work that it took to qualify for State XC two years in a row.  Congratulations to Jerret and his coaches Alesha Evans, and Assistant Coach, Jeremy Evans!
