Wool Team Attends ASU Wool Judging Clinic

Celeste FFA members, Paris Walker, Justin Richey, Katelyn Walker, Regan Adams, Linda Beth Norwood, Madisyn Douglas, and Brailyn Hise traveled to San Angelo to attend a wool judging clinic at Angelo State University on December 10, 2021.  The wool clinic was put on by the ASU Wool Judging team members.  Attendees learned basic methods in evaluating wool types and placing fleece classes.  Following the training, FFA members participated in a practice contest. There were 220 individuals in the contest and Paris placed 29th, Justin 35th and Linda Beth 100th. Madisyn, Regan, Katelyn and Brailyn all did great as well! Paris and Justin were the only experienced wool team members, so we are extremely proud of our new members for stepping out of their comfort zone.
