Beta Club Members Attend State Convention and Win State Contests

Celeste High School Beta members, Luke Beadles, Koby Brown, Caleigh Cummings, Kylie Dunn, Kendall Hanson, Makinna Hill, Brandon Lewis, Erick Orduna, Justin Richey, Justin Sherwin, Aiden Shuptrine, Carlena Spagnuolo, Jerret Stone, and Dylan Tenney, recently attended the Texas Beta State Convention on January 21-22, 2022.  Koby Brown and Kylie Dunn were announced as state winners!  Koby Brown placed 1st in the Tenth Grade Agriscience contest.  The test consisted of a 45 minute online multiple-choice test over Agriscience topics.  Kylie placed 1st in the Onsite Art competition.  This contest provides students the opportunity to showcase artistic talents and creative abilities. Kylie brought her own materials and created a drawing onsite during the convention.  Both students are invited to compete at the National Convention that will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee during Summer 2022.  Congratulations to these CHS Beta Club members and to all those who went to compete and represent Celeste.
