Air Conditioning Innovative Solutions (ACIS) Owner Speaks to FFA Members

Kevin Self, owner and senior vice president of ACIS Innovative Solutions, spoke to Celeste FFA members on January 25, 2022.  Following graduation from Blue Ridge High School, Mr. Self and a colleague from Blue Ridge, Mike Nichols, attended a trade school in Houston, Texas where they specialized in HVAC training.  In 2002, Mr. Self and his friend opened the HVAC company ACIS Innovative Solutions.   Over the last 20 years, ACIS has grown into a world class innovative company.  Mr. Self spends time helping young people develop careers in the HVAC industry.  He works closely with local high schools, trade schools and colleges to recruit students into training programs that will prepare them for commercial and residential HVAC careers.  He discussed the high demand for HVAC workers, and he explained how students can apply to colleges and trade school as well as scholarship and work opportunities thorough ACIS.
