CES Book Machine Promotes Positive Behavior, Literacy and Academic Excellence

Blue Devils are known to be respectful, chivalrous and courteous, so congratulations to third grader, Cooper D’Amico for being a great example!  Cooper showed kindness by helping out a classmate on the second day of school, and his good deeds were rewarded with a token to choose a book from the vending machine to take home!  Celeste Elementary teachers reward students that demonstrate Blue Devil pride, acts of good behavior and attendance as well as academic progress with tokens to spend in the school book vending machine.  The book machine was a gift in 2021 from the Hunt County Kids Organization.  “With Hunt County Kids support, the book vending machine has been wonderful for our campus, students and teachers,” stated Principal Lindsay Walker.  “It has been instrumental in developing a love of reading and of books all the while promoting positive behavior.”
