Cross Country Athletes are Running Strong!

The Celeste Cross Country Team ran in the Trenton Invitational Meet on Saturday, September 10, 2022.  Cross Country athletes have been running and building endurance in extreme heat conditions for weeks, and the effort is paying off!  The varsity boys’ team of Grady Ford- 3rd (medal), Justin Sherwin- 5th (medal), Henry Waller- 11^th, Sebastian Ortega- 24^th and Adam Hofman- 29^th placed 2^nd overall.  For the varsity girls, Kendall Hanson- 9th (medal) and Olivia Briseno- 24^th.   The junior high girls also did well with Natalie Vasquez- 4th (medal) and Abigail Waller- 11^th.  Congratulations to all the runners! Head Coach, Alesha Bayiha stated that, “Our athletes did an outstanding job.  They are focused and ready to run with several beating their personal records this week.”
