Ft. Worth Open Show Senior Reserve Champion

Celeste FFA member Madisyn Douglas is one hard worker!  She has spent months preparing for major livestock show season including feeding, grooming, training and caring for her herd of Santa Gertrudis cattle.  You could say, as much time as she dedicates to her cattle, she just about lives in the barn!  Recently, she began working with her little brother, Myles.  Shadowing his big sister, Myles quickly learned the basics of caring for show cattle, and he begged to have a calf of his own to show.  Madisyn began assisting Myles in the showring with their heifer Shirley, and Myles and Shirley placed 2^nd in class at the Fort Worth Santa Gertrudis Open show.  Congratulations to Myles, and also to Madisyn for winning Senior Reserve Champion and Best of Polled with her cow Honolulu and her baby calf, Aloha.
