District XC 2023 Results

The Celeste Cross Country teams competed at the District Competition on Monday, October 9, 2023 at Trenton High School.  All members worked very hard to prepare for competition during the hottest conditions of the summer.  Congratulations to the cross country team and head coach, Alesha Bayiha. 

The junior high girls’ cross-country team placed 2^nd overall!  The team consisted of Harper Brown, Abigail Waller, Hannah Foster, Mary Alice Norwood, Sophia Pimentel, and Adriana Briseno.  Harper Brown placed 2nd overall with a time of 15:08, Abigail Waller placed 5th with a time of 16:44, and Hannah Foster placed 6th with a time of 16:46.

The varsity girls had a strong showing with Kendall Hanson- 13^th Place, Natalie Vasquez- 19^th Place, and Ollie Haakantu- 37^th Place. 

The varsity boys team placed 3^rd overall and qualified for the Regional meet which will be held at Lynn Creek Park in Grand Prairie on October 23^rd & 24^th.  Congratulations to Grady Ford- 7^th Place, Henry Waller- 8^th Place, Cyrus Ford- 14^th Place, Sebastian Ortega- 15^th Place, Adam Hofman- 28^th Place and Andrew Wright- 40^th Place.
