I am the 5^th grade Reading / ELA/Social StudiesTeacher currently.  I have been in the district for many years.  I learn as much as the students every year!  It just keeps getting better and better. My certification is for grades 1-8 and ESL.  I have taught every grade from 3rd-8^th, usually in math or reading. I taught 5^th grade self-contained for many years.  I just love our school.

I have been married since May 22, 1975 to Gene Rhoden.  We have a son and a daughter, Joey and Jessica, both married as well.  I have many grandchildren. One is a college graduate from Stephen F. Austin. One will gaduate from Texas State Technical College this semester.  One  attends Celeste Schools.  One attends Greenville High School.

My entire life has been spent in Celeste, Texas.  I am a die-hard Blue Devil.  My husband is also an alumni, as are both my children.  We have strong family ties in the community and have had many Blue Devil athletes in our ranks throughout the years. We hope the best are still learning!

I am an avid reader. I love playing card and domino games. I love going to ballgames, the movies, and finding new places to eat out.  My husband and I love to travel when our budget allows.
