SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER
I graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Business Administration and Sociology. I later attained my Master of Education Degree as a Mathematics Specialist from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2012.
I happily joined the Celeste ISD Blue Devil Family in 2022. I am currently the Special Education Teacher with courses in the areas of Resource English and Resource Math.
I was happily married for 17 glorious years to the love of my life, David. He fought cancer hard, but lost that battle in the summer of 2021. I am adjusting to being a widow and learning to live life without him. Together we have 5 children, three of his, and two of mine. All are successful adults and we have many grandchildren and a few great-grandchildren. An unusual fact about me is that I have no pets. Maybe one day I will.
My hobbies include paper crafting, working puzzles, and reading. I love to make junk journals when I have time. That is my favorite thing to make in my paper crafting. I love to work puzzles with my sister when I visit her. I love to read Christian fiction, especially Amish books.
