Helping Your Child Manage Stress and Other Emotions

Children's Health Telehealth Counseling Partnership

TCHATT Consent Form

Celeste ISD is proud to partner with Children’s Health℠ and UT Southwestern to provide convenient access to expert behavioral health care, virtually. Tele-Behavioral services at Celeste are provided at no cost through the Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine, or TCHATT, program. Many students struggle with stress, anxiety, depression, and other emotions. If you’ve noticed your child or teenager being impacted, they may feel more comfortable talking to a therapist or counselor virtually. With your permission, your child can receive short-term virtual therapy from a licensed behavioral health provider from school or home using a mobile device. You can join their session from work or home, too. It’s a convenient option for expert behavioral health care.
In addition to therapy sessions, Children’s Health can also provide community resources, psychoeducation, and a virtual consultation with a licensed psychiatrist when clinically necessary. Talk to your school counselor for more details and to get enrolled.

Our counselors will work to empower students, equipping them with the skills and resilience needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. Together, we are building a brighter future for our students, where they can reach their full potential both inside and outside the classroom.

Celeste ISD offers a comprehensive guidance counseling program whose purpose is to promote and enhance the learning process. The comprehensive school counseling program will support the mission of CISD and will be led by professional school counselors with the support of administrators, staff, parents and community members to focus on academic success, college/career information, and personal/social development. This program includes individual assistance in a proactive manner in response to students' needs.
