The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizens Award for Celeste ISD was awarded to Lauren Tenney on Saturday November 9, 2024 by the Brig. Gen. Edward Bulkley Chapter, DAR. The DAR Good Citizens program and scholarship contest are intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship including dependability, service, leadership and patriotism. Lauren was awarded her certificate and pin at the recent chapter meeting and brunch. Her essay will move forward to be considered for a scholarship.
